Gentle Yoga: Revitalize and restore your body in this beginner-friendly fundamental yoga class. Combining the basics of Yoga and steady breathing this class will gently help improve spinal alignment, increase flexibility, and build strength. Expect a slower paced class with basic postures and use of props. Gentle Yoga classes are the best fit if you have an injury, are feeling low energy, or are pregnant. This is a non-intimidating class good for all ages and experience levels.
Flow Yoga: When you feel comfortable and confident moving through basic poses and are ready to explore more challenging variations our Flow Yoga is for you. Based on Vinyasa Flow Yoga where movement is synchronized to breath. Expect to do more standing poses and moving from one pose to another at a faster pace. The poses will require more strength, balance, and flexibility - but don't worry you will be guided in your practice while being offered different level modifications to suit your specific needs.
Yin Yoga: Focuses on stretching the deep tissue around the hips and lower spine through floor postures. Poses are relaxed and held for longer periods of time with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Suitable for all levels.
Restorative Yoga: These classes teach us to relax and rest deeply and completely. In this class props are used to support the body so that you can hold poses for longer periods of time allowing you to open up your body through passive stretching. The procedures are usually laying on your back or seated yoga poses with the addition of props that we provide - blocks, bolsters, and blankets - to eliminate any unnecessary straining. Great for beginners or those with injuries.
Deep Stretch: This class focuses on alignment and posture without following a standard yoga class format. Stretches are active and held for longer periods of time, making this class great for increasing flexibility and range of motion.
Meditation & Pranayama: there is nothing more important than to learn to relax quiet the mind and find a sense of peace and serenity. Meditation is the key. These classes introduce you to these ancient techniques to learn to meditate and breathe. "Pranac is your breath or life force energy and "yama" means to control or extend to dry out. Through learning breathing techniques one learns to control other areas of their life as well. We all need this in our lives!
Harmony Barre: This class uses basic ballet movements to tone thighs, burn fat, and lift the seat. The benefits of this class including improving posture, strengthening the abdominals, and lengthening the muscles to create a long, lean body. Good for all levels.
Cardio Fusion: A non-stop, low impact cardio mix of barre, pilates, and dance that will get your heart pumping! Good for all levels.
